Teachers’ Convention: Project Launch (Valsad) Launch of “Become Adarsh” Project in Valsad District Schools Launch of “Become Adarsh” Project in Valsad District SchoolsOn 21st February 2026, the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha officially launched the “Become Adarsh” project for primary school students of the Valsad district at BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Tithal. The convention was a grand success, attended by over 1,400 principals and teachers from across the district.   The inauguration ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by a panel of distinguished guests, including:   Shri Kanubhai Desai (Hon. Minister of Finance, Energy and Petrochemicals, Govt. of Gujarat)   Shri Dhavalbhai Patel (Hon. Member of Parliament, Valsad & Dang, and Lok Sabha Whip)   Shri Jitubhai Chaudhari (Hon. Vasava (District Primary Education Officer)   Shri Arjunbhai Patel (Deputy District Primary Education Officer)   Shri Gokulbhai Patel (President, District Primary Teachers’ Association)   Shri Ajitsinh Thakor (President, District Shaikshik Sangh)   Shri Ajaybhai Thakor (President, District HTAT Headmasters’ Association)   Pujya Vivekswarup Swami, Kothari of BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Tithal, extended a warm floral and verbal welcome to all the dignitaries and educators.   Project Objectives and ImplementationThe “Become Adarsh” initiative is designed to nurture moral values and character-building in children. Through this project, schools will be empowered with inspirational and value-based content delivered via the “Become Adarsh” mobile application. The convention provided a comprehensive roadmap for educators on implementing this character-building program in their respective schools.   A profound discourse was delivered by Pujya Gnannanayan Swami from Sarangpur on the theme: “Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye” (True Knowledge is That Which Liberates). He highlighted the transformative power of value-based education and its role in student development.   Concluding RemarksIn his concluding remarks, Hon. Minister Shri Kanubhai Desai lauded the extensive social and educational contributions of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha. The convention was attended by approximately 600 principals from various schools in the district, showcasing a strong commitment to value-based education.   The inauguration ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by esteemed guests:   Shri Bipinbhai Patel (District Education Officer, Mehsana)   Shri Girishbhai Rajgor (President, BJP, Mehsana District)   The “Become Adarsh” initiative aims to instill moral values and character-building in children through modern educational tools. Teachers’ Convention: Project Launch (Bhavnagar) Launch of Become Adarsh Program in Bhavnagar District Schools On July 30, 2024, the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha launched the Become Adarsh program for students in Bhavnagar District schools. The event was attended by over 1,500 teachers and principals from schools across the district. The program was inaugurated with a lamp-lighting ceremony in the presence of Bhavnagar District Education Officer, Shri Hitendrasinh Padhiar; District Primary Education Officer, Shri Kamleshbhai Patel; Chairman of the Nagar Prathmik Shikshan Samiti, Shri Nikunjbhai Trivedi; Shashnadhikari, Shri Munjalbhai Badmalia; and senior swamis from BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Bhavnagar. The initiative aims to instill values and provide value-based education to students. Through the Become Adarsh mobile application, inspirational videos will be made available to all schools. Attendees were guided on how this initiative by BAPS will contribute to the moral and character development of children.
