Teachers’ Convention: Project Launch (Dhule) Launch of Become Adarsh Project in Dhule City Schools On November 30, 2024, the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha inaugurated the Become Adarsh program for students in Dhule City’s schools. The event witnessed the participation of over 800 teachers from various schools across the city. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Shri Vishal Narwade, Chief Executive Officer of Dhule Zilla Parishad; Shri Chandrakant Pawar, Additional Chief Executive Officer; Shri Manish Pawar, District Education Officer; and Education Expert Shri Prakash Pathak. Senior swamis from BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Dhule, also attended the event. The Become Adarsh project aims to nurture moral and character development in students. Teachers were introduced to how this program facilitated by BAPS will achieve these objectives through inspirational videos made accessible via the project’s mobile application. Pujya Gnannayan Swami from the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Sarangpur delivered an enlightening discourse on the topic “Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye (A True Education is that which Liberates).” The program concluded with the teachers pledging to take a significant step toward shaping a brighter and value-based future for India.

The event witnessed participation from over 2,000 teachers and principals representing 1,300 schools. The program was inaugurated in the presence of Shri Maheshbhai Pandey, District Primary Education Officer of Vadodara, and senior swamis from BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Atladara. The event marked the launch of the Become Adarsh project, which is designed to instill moral values and holistic education among students. Teacher Training Progam (Surat, Gujarat) Teachers’ Training Program under Become Adarsh Project in Surat On February 17, 2024, a teachers’ training program was organized in Surat under the Become Adarsh project. The seminar was held in collaboration with the Self-Financed School Management Association of Surat. The event was honored by the presence of Dr. Bhagirathsingh Parmar, District Education Officer. The training session was conducted by Parasbhai Parmar, who represents the BAPS organization. Parasbhai’s theme was “Shaping the Seeds.” The program provided valuable guidance and insights to the educators present. Sanskruti Yatra Cultural Journey and Exhibition for Schools during Sarangpur Mandir Centenary Celebrations In 2016, as part of the Sarangpur Mandir Centenary Celebrations, a special initiative was organized for schools in Sarangpur and surrounding villages. The event featured exhibition halls and a cultural journey focused on themes such as the Adarsh Child, Adarsh Student, and Adarsh Citizen. The event spanned 45 days and attracted participation from over 27,500 students, offering them valuable insights into moral values, character building, and cultural heritage. This initiative left a lasting impact, inspiring the younger generation towards a path of excellence and values.
