Teachers’ Convention: Project Launch (Sabarkantha) Launch of “Become Adarsh” Project in Sabarkantha District Schools. On 21st March 2025, the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha officially launched the “Become Adarsh” project for students of Sabarkantha district at BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Himmatnagar. The event received an overwhelming response, with over 1,200 teachers and principals from various schools in attendance. The inauguration ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Shri Vimalbhai Upadhyay (Chairman, Himmatnagar Municipal Corporation), Shri Vimalbhai Chaudhary (Deputy Collector), Smt. Mitaben Gadhvi (District Education Officer, Sabarkantha), Shri Keyurbhai Upadhyay (District Primary Education Officer), Shri Kanubhai Patel (President, BJP, Sabarkantha), Former MLA Shri Mahendrasinh Baraiya, Shri Himanshubhai Ninama (Chairman, Jilla Shikshan Samiti), and Shri Hiteshbhai Patel (Mantri, Self-Financed School Management Association,Gujarat). The event witnessed the participation of over 250 teachers from various schools in the region. The launch ceremony was graced by the presence of Shri Vipulbhai (MLA, Sojitra), Shri Kamleshbhai (MLA, Petlad), District Education Officer Smt. Kaminiben Trivedi, and revered saints from BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Mahelav. Teachers’ Convention: Project Launch (Bhavnagar) Launch of Become Adarsh Program in Bhavnagar District Schools On July 30, 2024, the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha launched the Become Adarsh program for students in Bhavnagar District schools. The event was attended by over 1,500 teachers and principals from schools across the district. The program was inaugurated with a lamp-lighting ceremony in the presence of Bhavnagar District Education Officer, Shri Hitendrasinh Padhiar; District Primary Education Officer, Shri Kamleshbhai Patel; Chairman of the Nagar Prathmik Shikshan Samiti, Shri Nikunjbhai Trivedi; Shashnadhikari, Shri Munjalbhai Badmalia; and senior swamis from BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Bhavnagar. The initiative aims to instill values and provide value-based education to students. Through the Become Adarsh mobile application, inspirational videos will be made available to all schools. Attendees were guided on how this initiative by BAPS will contribute to the moral and character development of children. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Shri Vishal Narwade, Chief Executive Officer of Dhule Zilla Parishad; Shri Chandrakant Pawar, Additional Chief Executive Officer; Shri Manish Pawar, District Education Officer; and Education Expert Shri Prakash Pathak. Teacher Training Progam (Surat, Gujarat) Teachers’ Training Program under Become Adarsh Project in Surat On February 17, 2024, a teachers’ training program was organized in Surat under the Become Adarsh project. The seminar was held in collaboration with the Self-Financed School Management Association of Surat. The event was honored by the presence of Dr. Bhagirathsingh Parmar, District Education Officer. The training session was conducted by Parasbhai Parmar, who represents the BAPS organization. Parasbhai’s theme was “Shaping the Seeds.” The program provided valuable guidance and insights to the educators present.
