Launch of Become Adarsh Project in Vadodara City Schools

On March 14, 2024, the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha inaugurated the Become Adarsh program for students of schools under the Nagar Prathmik Shikshan Samiti in Vadodara City. The event was attended by over 350 teachers and principals from 122 schools.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Dr. Hemang Joshi, Member of Parliament for Vadodara; Shri Minesh Pandya, Chairman of the Nagar Prathmik Shikshan Samiti; and Shikshanadhikari Smt. Shwetaben Parghi. Senior swamis from BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Atladara, were also present.

The Become Adarsh program aims to foster character development among students. Attendees were introduced to the project’s approach and resources for achieving these goals.

Pujya Gnanvijay Swami from the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Atladara, delivered an inspiring discourse on the topic “Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye (A True Education is that which Liberates).”

The event concluded with teachers pledging to take a step forward in building a bright future for India.
