Teachers’ Convention: Project Launch (Sabarkantha)

Launch of "Become Adarsh" Project in Sabarkantha District Schools.

On 21st March 2025, the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha officially launched the “Become Adarsh” project for students of Sabarkantha district at BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Himmatnagar. The event received an overwhelming response, with over 1,200 teachers and principals from various schools in attendance.

 

The inauguration ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Shri Vimalbhai Upadhyay (Chairman, Himmatnagar Municipal Corporation), Shri Vimalbhai Chaudhary (Deputy Collector), Smt. Mitaben Gadhvi (District Education Officer, Sabarkantha), Shri Keyurbhai Upadhyay (District Primary Education Officer), Shri Kanubhai Patel (President, BJP, Sabarkantha), Former MLA Shri Mahendrasinh Baraiya, Shri Himanshubhai Ninama (Chairman, Jilla Shikshan Samiti), and Shri Hiteshbhai Patel (Mantri, Self-Financed School Management Association,Gujarat).

 

The event provided valuable insights into how the BAPS organization aims to instill moral values and character development among students through this initiative. A special discourse on “Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye” (True Knowledge Leads to Liberation) was delivered by Pujya Gnannanayan Swami from Sarangpur, inspiring educators on the significance of value-based education.

 

The event concluded with a collective commitment from all educators to take a step forward in shaping a brighter future for India through moral and value-based education.
