Teachers’ Convention: Project Launch (Mehsana)

Launch of "Become Adarsh" Project in Mehsana District Schools
On 10th January 2026, the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha officially launched the “Become Adarsh” project for students across the Mehsana district at BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Mehsana. The convention was attended by approximately 600 principals from various schools in the district, showcasing a strong commitment to value-based education.
The inauguration ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by esteemed guests:
Shri Bipinbhai Patel (District Education Officer, Mehsana)
Shri Girishbhai Rajgor (President, BJP, Mehsana District)
The “Become Adarsh” initiative aims to instill moral values and character-building in children through modern educational tools. As part of this project, all participating schools will receive access to inspirational and educational videos via the “Become Adarsh” mobile application. The session provided the educators with comprehensive guidance on how the BAPS organization will support the schools in nurturing “Sanskars” (moral values) among students.
A highlight of the event was an inspiring discourse by Pujya Apurvamuni Swami from Rajkot, who spoke on the theme: “The Features of Teachers.” He emphasized the pivotal role educators play as role models and catalysts for character development in the younger generation.
The event concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, as all principals collectively pledged to take a step forward in shaping a brighter, more virtuous future for India.
