Launch of Become Adarsh Project in Anand City Schools

On June 2, 2024, the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha launched the Become Adarsh program for students in Anand City’s schools. The event was attended by over 800 teachers from various schools in the city.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of Anand District Education Officer, Smt. Kaminiben Trivedi; Taluka Primary Education Officer, Shri Bhavin Patel; and senior swamis from BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Anand, including Pujya Bhagwatcharan Swami and Pujya Yagnesetu Swami, along with swamis from the BAPS Children’s Activities Central Office, Ahmedabad.

The Become Adarsh project aims to foster value-based education and moral development in students. Attendees were guided on how this initiative by BAPS will play a vital role in shaping the character and values of children.

Pujya Viveknistha Swami from the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Atladara, Vadodara, delivered an inspiring discourse on the topic “Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye (A True Education is that which Liberates).”

The event concluded with teachers collectively pledging to take a step forward to building a bright future for India.
