Launch of "Become Adarsh" Project in Panchmahal District Schools

On 1st January 2026, the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha officially launched the “Become Adarsh” project for primary school students of the Panchmahal district at BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Godhra. The convention saw a massive turnout, with approximately 1,700 principals from across the district in attendance.

 

The program was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by several distinguished guests, including:

 

Shri Dumraliya (Secretary, GCERT, Gandhinagar)

 

Shri Arvindbhai Parmar (Chairman, District Education Committee)

 

Shri B.P. Gadhvi (Principal, District Education Committee)

 

Smt. Gayatriben Patel (District Primary Education Officer)

 

Shri Mansukhbhai Patel (President, District Primary Teachers’ Association)

 

Shri Ashwinbhai Patel (President, District Shaikshik Sangh)

 

Pujya Brahmajeevan Swami, Kothari of BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Godhra, also graced the occasion to encourage and bless the educators.

 

The convention highlighted the importance of character-building and value-based education for children. Under this initiative, all schools will be provided with inspirational videos and resources through the “Become Adarsh” mobile application. The session provided a clear roadmap on how the BAPS organization intends to support schools in nurturing moral values (Sanskars) among students.

 

A special keynote address was delivered by Pujya Anirdesh Swami from Bharuch on the theme: “The Heart of Education is the Education of the Heart.” He spoke eloquently about how true education must touch the soul and build strong ethical foundations.

 

The event concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, as 1,700 principals collectively resolved to take a definitive step toward building a brighter and more virtuous future for India.
