Launch of "Become Adarsh" Project in Jamnagar District Schools

On 27th September 2025, the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha officially initiated the “Become Adarsh” project for students across Jamnagar district at BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Jamnagar. The convention saw an overwhelming response, with more than 2,103 principals and teachers from government and self-financed primary schools across all talukas in attendance.

 

The event was inaugurated with the traditional lighting of the lamp by a distinguished panel of guests, including:

Pujya Dharmanidhi Swami, Kothari of BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Jamnagar, was present to grace the occasion and encourage the educators.

 

The convention focused on the holistic development of students through value-based education. Educators were introduced to the “Become Adarsh” mobile application, designed to provide inspirational videos and content to schools to help nurture moral values (Sanskars) in children.

 

A spiritual highlight of the event was a profound discourse by Pujya Apurvamuni Swami from Rajkot on the theme: “Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye” (True Knowledge is That Which Liberates). He emphasized the role of teachers in building a value-driven society.

 

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Pujya Akshartilak Swami.All educators collectively resolved to take a firm step toward building a brighter future for India through character-based education.
