Launch of "Become Adarsh" Project for Dholka and Bavla Taluka Schools

On 4th September 2025, the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha officially launched the “Become Adarsh” project for primary school students of the Dholka and Bavla talukas at BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Dholka. The event saw enthusiastic participation from over 300 principals and teachers representing 170 government and self-financed primary schools.


The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by esteemed dignitaries, including:


Shri Kiritsinh Dabhi (Hon. MLA, Dholka)


Shri Deepakbhai (Taluka Primary Education Officer, Dholka)


Smt. Jigishaben Mehta (Taluka Primary Education Officer, Bavla)


Shri Khodubhai Padhiyar (President, Ahmedabad District Primary Teachers’ Association)


Shri Vikramsinh Parmar (BRC Coordinator)


Shri Digvijaysinh Mori (BRC Coordinator)


Pujya Sheelbhushan Swami, Kothari of BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Dholka, was also present to bless and encourage the educators.


The convention provided detailed guidance on how the “Become Adarsh” initiative aims to instill moral values and character-building in children. A key highlight of the project is the “Become Adarsh” mobile application, through which schools will receive inspirational videos and resources to facilitate value-based education.


During the assembly, Pujya Brahmamuni Swami from Ahmedabad delivered a moving occasional discourse. Furthermore, motivational speaker and trainer Parasbhai Parmar gave a compelling presentation on the theme: “The Heart of Education is the Education of the Heart.”


The event concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, as all participating principals and teachers made a collective commitment to take a step forward in shaping a brighter and more value-driven future for India’s youth.
